John Wheeler lives forever

Through Uncertainty Principles I learned that professor John Archibald Wheeler passed away yesterday. More here and here.

I read Wheeler’s autobiography, Geons, black holes and quantum foam: A Life in Physics during this past summer and it was an awesome read. It is full of anecdotes and stories about his inspirations.
